Both are merchfood imho, because there are a couple max q8 blue inscr and gold inscr for that matter fellblades out there.. And YES they drop! I got a q8 blue max dmg Rusty machete in DoA a week back or so, and it's up for sale now, not a lot interest though, since the skin sucks...
